Flumpool




I Flumpool (anche se più frequentemente scritto come “flumpool”) sono un gruppo giapponese di musicapop-rock formatosi ad Osaka nel Gennaio del 2007. Il nome deriva da un miscuglio di parole della lingua inglese: la lettera F è data da “four” (Quattro), che indica il numero dei componenti del gruppo, a cui hanno aggiunto la parola “lump” (pezzo) e “pool” (piscina).

Hanno pubblicato il primo singolo il 1° Ottobre 2008, intitolato “Hana ni Nare” (花になれ?, “Become a Flower” “Diventare un fiore”) pubblicato in rete come brano scaricabile gratuitamente. Il loro album di debutto è un mini-album (sebbena la sua lunghezza sia di oltre 48 minuti) dal titolo Unreal e pubblicato il 10 Novembre 2008. L’album si aggiudicò il disco di Platino dalla RIAJ per aver venduto più di 250,000 copie.
